
This Teriyaki Tofoo could turn any tofu sceptic into a fan. Saucy, sweet and easily made spicy, it’s a quick, fuss-free meal ready in just 20 minutes. Perfect for busy nights, it’s a crowd-pleasing fakeaway that’s sure to become a new weekly favourite.

Ingredients
280g Naked Tofoo, cut into cubes
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 red chilli, sliced
120g teriyaki sauce
150g mangetout
Serve with
Cooked rice for 2
Optional garnish
2 tsp sesame seeds
Chopped coriander
Method
Marinate the Tofoo cubes in the teriyaki sauce for 5-10 mins.
Heat the oil in a pan. Add the sliced chilli and fry until softened.
Add the Tofoo and the marinade to the pan and stir fry. Cook for 5 mins until the Tofoo is warmed through and the sauce is thickened.
Add the mangetout, stir fry for a few minutes so it is still crunchy.
Serve with rice and sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped coriander (if using).
